I see a world in flames reduced to Ashes
The fires consume all that was good
The heat of hate whispering in Darkness
The strong survive all Empathy lost
I see a world of broken bones
Darkness creeps to shattered homes
Once filled with laughter child play games
Now filled with laughter thrice insane
I see the stooges cash their gold
Chairs made from bones of young and old
The shadows flee in darkness light
Behind the smile the tears can't hide
I see a world reduced to tears
Consumed by lies and hate and fear
A race so young it never grew old
A race that died because it did what they been told
I see a mother in her hand
All hope that's lost from dust to sand
Invisible voices scream at thee
It wasn't me, it wasn't me
There lay all cities razed to dust
Because in leaders we did trust
The Fuhrer hailed what did we learn
A world betrayed in ashes urn
What did we learn from all our plight
We lost a war we did not fight
We did not stand up for our own
A Burning world that was forlorn
Our leaders in their Bunkers hail
Shifting the blame and make us fail
A race so young not to be told
How graceful it is to grow old
I saw it coming I spoke out
Just to be shouted down and loud
They call me sinister and names
I see a world in broken flames
I see a world reduced to tears
A light in plight and served with fear
The people in their bunkers hail
I see a world designed to fail
I see a race that never was
Hail to the stars from waste to Mars
A hedgehog in the headlight dies
Looked at the light with bloodshot eyes
The enemy unseen and cursed
Humanity is at its worst
The Lie upheld by propagation
A world in flames... Nation against Nation
What did you do to stop this plight?
Did you take sides in this damn fight?
I choose the right I choose the left
It was a heist all world's a theft
Cui bono where the money flows
On paths destruction evil grows
You fetch the liar fetch the Gold
Because you did what you been told
A Burning world looked to the stars
Blind destruction waging wars
A race so young it never grew old
Because they did what they been told
I pity thee and all their dreams
Those who believed I hear their screams
Betrayed by demons and their lies
A Burning world that slowly dies
A race so young it never was
A broken promise lost in wars
A child was born on the last day
Died all the same at love's decay
A Mother and her unborn son
Died on the streets and overrun
By Zombies and their lies and fears
A Burning world reduced to tears
What did we learn what did we see
Blind destruction followed thee
In God we trust I heard them scream
There lies in rust a burning Dream
There lies in dust a Burning world
Because we trusted Liars words
Commitment that we gave to thee
I refused, it wasn't me
The Ashes that I walk upon
The shattered Dream of your last son
Betrayed by empty shallow lies
A Burning world a world that dies
A Burning world all future died
Because of Leaders who lied
To all the people who betrayed
Lie now in Ashes in a world that failed
Where is your God where is your love
It was a lie
Your arrogance betrayed you
Your Ignorance failed you
In Ashes of a Burning world
The Demons laugh
The leaders of men
Betrayed them once again
The Ashes of a Burning world
Lies in cold Blood without a word
Silence
A race so young it never was
A race betrayed by Demon stars
All promises that never came
All demons try to shift the blame
Thus spoke the Raven Nevermore
The Demon laughs behind the door
I walk upon in silence
A race that never was
Under my feet
The Ashes of a Burning World

If—
BY RUDYARD KIPLING
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
And always remember…
Godspeed

HI Fritz, love If and enjoyed your poem immensely. Shame Rudyard Kipling was a Mason but The Man Who Would Be King is a great read and the film with Michael Caine and Sean Connery is in my top 10. Meanwhile I came across this in my FB. Yip is a Galactic 144000 star seed cadet, but this video piqued my interest and I thought of you.
