Have you ever read Snow Crash by Neil Stephenson? He talks about the Sumerian 'gods' - specifically Enki/EA using a 'mind virus'. Stephenson presents it as 'liberating man' but that is probably because he is one of these puppet people mind slaves... Here is the passage:

I want to go back to simplicity. Tech past 2005 is not needed. We lived back then. Now? We just are slowly dying. I don't have a social life or friends anymore because I don't use Facebook or other social media and that is the only place my former pals seem to ever communicate on. It's like everyone has become a digital hermit that just trolls the internet looking for something to slam their genitals into or useless trash to buy that in a year they won't even remember what drawer they shoved it in. My ex-fiance used to buy the new iphone every damn year. Thousands of dollars and I'd be like honey you do not play 3D games why would you want the newest processor and GPU and she'd be like YOU JUST DON'T GET IT! THIS IS A SYMBOL OF MY STATUS! Okay whatever bitch... I still use the same phone I bought 8 years ago.
If you look at the Sumerian Gods... they had a "watch" and a "Handbag"... and a "pinecone"
The Handbag is energy... some kind of battery... the watch is a positioning device... some kind of controller and the pinecone is some kind of weapon / levitation device on which you control the energy stream emitted.
